Services - Internet / Wireless setup
We can install and configure almost any Internet connection, including broadband and wireless connections. At your request, we will:
- Set up your Internet connection on your computer
- Advise on any additional equipment required
- Install your modem, router, or wireless devices
- Troubleshoot any connection problems you may have
- Set up your email accounts
- Check that your computer has anti-virus and other security
- Check that your wireless connection is secure
- Ensure that your computer will be protected against emerging threats
- Share your printer and/or documents between computers (if applicable)
- Connect X-Box, Wii, DS, PS3, iPod/iPhone and more (optional, extra fee)
Where necessary we will offer to provide extra filters, BT face-plates and/or special extension cables to resolve connection issues (please note, we don't wire in permanent telephone extensions, we leave that to telephone specialists, electricians and suitably competent DIYers!)
Please make sure you have the correct username, password and other connection details before we arrive. Nearly all Internet connections are up and running in a single visit. In the event that we pinpoint the fault to the telephone line, Internet Service or your equipment; we'll do what we can and charge an appropriate diagnosis/visit fee. If required, we'll arrange another visit once you've followed our advice and resolved the problem with your retailer or service provider.
